Account Manager

New World Imports, Inc. is a family-owned business based in Nashville, TN, specializing in supplying personal care products to a wide range of markets across the United States. Since our founding in 1971, we have grown steadily, and our team continues to thrive. We are currently seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Account Manager to join our team and help propel our growth even further. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing existing customer accounts, nurturing long-term relationships, and seeking new business opportunities to expand our customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Relationship Management: Foster and maintain strong relationships with current customer accounts through regular communication via phone and email.
  • Account Growth: Identify and pursue growth opportunities within existing customer accounts by understanding their evolving needs and presenting solutions.
  • New Business Development: Actively identify and pursue new customer accounts to expand the company’s reach and revenue base.
  • Order Management: Enter orders into the system accurately and promptly, ensuring a smooth transaction process.
  • Product Promotion: Promote the company’s products and brand to both current and potential customers, highlighting our unique offerings and value.
  • Market Awareness: Stay informed on industry trends, market changes, and competitor activity to provide informed recommendations to customers and the internal team.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues or challenges that arise.

Requirements:

  • Education & Experience: A Bachelor’s Degree or 3+ years of relevant experience in account management, sales, or customer service.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence customers effectively.
  • Microsoft Office Proficiency: Comfortable with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM software.
  • Self-Management: Strong self-management skills, with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Problem Solving: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to navigate challenges and provide solutions.
  • Customer-Centric Attitude: A passion for delivering exceptional service and a commitment to understanding and meeting customer needs.
